Drive List Does Not Show All Available Drives (280499)

When you click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Fonts, and then click Install New Fonts on the File menu, the Drives box in the Add Fonts dialog box may show only drive C.
CAUSE
The Drives box is a common controls list box. Calls are made to the shell and OLE to enumerate the drives. However, the options for networking are not configured as expected.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue:
- Right-click My Network Places on the desktop, and then click Properties.
- Right-click Local Area Network, and then click Properties.
- Remove and reinstall the Client for Microsoft Networks client.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
