Only the First Four Mass Storage Drivers Are Listed in Text Mode Setup (280320)

SYMPTOMS

After you press F6 to install a third-party SCSI or RAID driver, during the text mode portion of Setup the screen displays only the first four mass storage device drivers even though more than four may exist.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the manufacturer seldom provides more than four drivers for a specific device in the Txtsetup.oem file.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, press the DOWN ARROW key to display the additional drivers that do not fit in the text box.
