- Microsoft BackOffice Server 2000
This article was previously published under Q280038 SUMMARY
When you run the Internet Connection Wizard for the first time in Small Business Server (SBS) 2000 or BackOffice Server 2000, the following error messages may be logged in the Internet Connection Wizard setup log (ICWlog.txt):

Error 0x2 returned from call to RegOpenKeyEx().
calling CopyRevertConnector (0).

Error 0x80072030 returned from call to GetBOConnector().
Error 0x80072030 returned from call to CopyRevertConnector().
calling ADsGetObject LDAP Query for "IADs, 0x6fb8c" in your Exchange routing group
Error 0x80072030 returned from call to ADsGetObject().
One or more of the same messages may be logged each time you run the Internet Connection Wizard.
MORE INFORMATION
You can safely ignore these error messages. The Internet Connection Wizard is looking for existing information in the registry and Active Directory. If you are running the Internet Connection Wizard for the first time, this information does not exist and the error messages are expected. The required information is then written to the registry and Active Directory by the Internet Connection Wizard. Your particular configuration may not require all the fields to be written to; therefore, when you run the Internet Connection Wizard again, the error messages continue to be logged.
NOTE: If you receive any additional error messages, or error messages that are different from the ones described in the "Summary" section, these messages may indicate that an actual error occurred during configuration of the server by the Internet Connection Wizard. You cannot automatically ignore these error messages.
