SQL English Query Component Installation Destination Does Not Change During Installation (280007)

After you install Microsoft BackOffice Server (BOS) 2000 or Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) 2000, the installation may revert back to the default location if you change the default installation location for Microsoft SQL Server English Query 2000 (MSEQ).
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, you can change the installation location of MSEQ, uninstall MSEQ, and then reinstall it to a new location:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add\Remove Programs.
- Click Microsoft English Query 2000, and then click Remove.
- Click Remove all.
- Click Restart Windows.
- Log back in after you restart the server.
- Insert the BOS 2000 or the SBS 2000 CD-ROM disc 2.
- Click Start, click Run, type x:\sql2000\mseq\x86\setup.exe where x is the drive letter of your CD-ROM.
- Agree to the license to continue.
- On the next screen, click Change Folder to change the installation location.
- After you select the new location, click the installation type to finish the installation.
