SYMPTOMS
When you run a 16-bit Windows Sockets-based program on your
Windows Millennium Edition-based computer, you may receive the following error
message when the program makes a call to the Winsock connect() function:
"program name" has caused an error in IPHLPAPI.DLL.
"program name" will now close.
Note that you may receive the
preceding error message even though the 16-bit Windows Sockets-based program
works correctly on all other Windows operating systems.
