When you use Microsoft Encarta Interactive World Atlas 2001, you may experience slow performance when you attempt to use the following features:
  • Map Gallery
  • Multimedia Features
  • Virtual Flights
  • World Tours

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your computer is running the Spanish language version of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Encarta Interactive World Atlas 2001.

NOTE: This issue also occurs when you use the Spanish language version of Encarta Interactive World Atlas 2001 (Encarta Atlas Mundial 2001) on a computer that is running the Spanish language version of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
