If Active Desktop is enabled, when you copy a file and then copy the same file to the same location, you are prompted to overwrite the first file. However, if Active Desktop is not enabled, when you copy a file and then copy the same file to the same location, a second copy of the file is created. For example, if you copy the Test.txt file to the same location and Active Desktop is not enabled, a Test(2).txt file is created.
