This article was previously published under Q279391 SYMPTOMS
When you save your publication as a Web page, or preview your Web page by clicking Web Page Preview on the File menu, some of your rotated clip art may not appear rotated in your Web browser.
The clip art selection that you inserted and rotated appears correctly inside Microsoft Publisher, but reverts to its original orientation when it is previewed as a Web page.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, place your clip art selection on the clipboard, and then paste it as another picture type. NOTE: When you follow these steps, the clip art selection may become rasterized and may degrade in visual quality.
- In Microsoft Publisher, select the rotated clip art.
- On the Edit menu, click Cut.
- On the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
- In the Paste Special dialog box, click Picture (PNG) or Picture (JPG/JFIF), and then click OK.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
