2 Troubleshooting: Entourage Doesn't Open After QuickView is Installed

If you are using Mac OS 9 or later, have Virtual Memory turned off, and have 64 MB or less of physical RAM, you might not be able to open Entourage after installing QuickView. You must be able to open Entourage to use reminders and other QuickView features. Turn on Virtual Memory to use Entourage and QuickView. _________________________________________________________________________

3 Known Issues

3.1 Disabling Reminders in QuickView Disables Some Office Control Strip Functionality
------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you select Turn Reminders Off in the Office Control Strip, the following features will not be available:

- List of today's appointments
- List of today's tasks or incomplete tasks
- Ability to switch identities

3.2 Office Control Strip Might Not Update Immediately
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Office Control Strip might not update immediately after you turn reminders on or off or create a new appointment or task. Check the control strip again later.

3.3 Creating a Task in QuickView Uses Different Keyboard Shortcut Than in Entourage
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The keyboard shortcut for creating a new task in QuickView is Command+Shift+N. In Entourage, the keyboard shortcut for creating a new task is Command+N while the Tasks list is open. Pressing Command+N in QuickView creates a new contact.

3.4 Switching Identities in the Office Control Strip Does Not Work if Word, PowerPoint, or Excel Is Running
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before switching identities in the Office Control Strip, you must quit Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. You do not need to quit Entourage.
