OL2002: The Allow Upgrade to Large Tables Option is Missing (279122)

SUMMARY

The Allow Upgrade to Large Tables check box does not appear in the property sheet for your Personal Folders (.pst) file in Outlook 2002.

MORE INFORMATION

If you click to uncheck the check box for the Allow Upgrade to Large Tables option, Outlook configures to not automatically upgrade a Personal Folders (.PST) file table to the large table format when the folder exceeds 16,383 items. You may not want to allow the upgrade if you want to use the Personal Folders (.PST) file with a version of Outlook prior to 8.03 since versions of Outlook prior to 8.03 cannot read a .PST file that is in "Large Table Format".

Because many versions of Outlook have been released since version 8.03, Microsoft removed the "Allow Upgrade to Large Tables" check box, so that Outlook automatically upgrades the .PST file when a folder exceeds 16,383 items.
