SYMPTOMS

After you change the URL for previously published free-and-busy data, the next time you publish calendar free-and-busy information from Outlook, you receive the following error message:
An error occurred publishing your Internet free/busy data. Write operation failed at URL:

CAUSE

After you change the Publish at this URL setting in the Free/Busy Options dialog box, Outlook updates the following registry key:

Outlook does not, however, change the following registry keys, which contain values equal to the previous publishing information:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Webposts\FrontPageWPP\Sites\Microsoft Outlook Internet Free/Busy Web Server

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Webposts\Sites\Microsoft Outlook Internet Free/Busy Web Server
