The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works Suite 2001
- Microsoft Works 6
This article was previously published under Q279074 SYMPTOMS
When you open a Microsoft Works 6 or Microsoft Works Suite 2001 spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel 2000, any page breaks that you entered shift down one row, which forces data to the next page.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, insert a blank row, and then place your page break after it. To do this, follow these steps:
- In Works Spreadsheet, right-click the row in which you want the page break, and then click Insert Row.
- Select this blank row, and then click Insert Page Break on the Insert menu.
- Save the file.
You can now open the file in Excel 2000 without data moving to the wrong page.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
