Error Message: A Failure Occurred in CA_PRED_InstantiateResource (279059)

When you install Commerce Server, you may receive the following error message:

WARNING: A failure occurred in CA_PRED_InstantiateResource() on d:\cs40\private\cs40\setup\ca_dll\predictor.cpp:58.
The error code is -2146828283, and the description is:
NOTE: The description is blank in the error message.
CAUSE
The Predictor resource is already present in the MSCS_Admin database for this computer.
WORKAROUND
If you do not have to keep any of the current Commerce Server Server settings, remove the MSCS_Admin database from SQL Server.
If you need to keep your Commerce Server Server settings, remove the Predictor resource from the MSCS_Admin database, and then run the Setup program again. To remove the Predictor resource from the MSCS_Admin database, follow these steps:
- Open SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
- Select the MSCS_Admin database.
- Right-click the Resources table, click Open Table, and then click Return all rows.
- Right-click Predictor on ComputerName, and then click Delete.
