When you restart your computer, you may receive the following error message:
Svchost.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created
CAUSE
This problem can occur under the following circumstances:
- If you make a phone call between Internet Protocol (IP) phones
-and- - If your phone connection is visible in a Telephony API (TAPI) program (such as Phone Dialer) on your computer and on the computer to which you have a phone connection
-and- - If you restart your computer while the call is still connected
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
