SUMMARY

You cannot configure Entourage to send and receive e-mail messages with the America Online (AOL) service.

Entourage supports current standards for sending and receiving Internet e-mail messages. These include Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) and Internet Messaging Access Protocol version 4 (IMAP4). The AOL e-mail transport is proprietary, and does not address these standards.
