FP2002: Text Is Not Pasted When You Paste a Text Box from FrontPage into Word (278223)

When you copy a FrontPage text box that you inserted by using the Drawing toolbar, and then you use the Paste Special command in Word 2002 to paste the text box (select MS Office Drawing Object), the text inside the text box is not pasted. Only the text box drawing object is pasted into Word.
WORKAROUND
To insert the text box correctly, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Use the Default Paste Operation- In FrontPage, open a new blank page.
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click New Drawing.
- On the Drawing toolbar, click Text Box, and then draw your text box.
- Type the text that you want in your text box.
- Select the text box, and then press CTRL+C. (The text box must be selected, not the text.)
- Switch to Word and open the page where you want to paste your text box.
- On the Edit menu, click Paste.
Method 2: Use the HTML Format in Paste Special- In FrontPage, open a new blank page.
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click New Drawing.
- On the Drawing toolbar, click Text Box, and then draw your text box.
- Type the text that you want in your text box.
- Select the text box, and then press CTRL+C. (The text box must be selected, not the text.)
- Switch to Word, and open a new blank page.
- On the Edit menu, point to Paste Special, and then click HTML Format.
