OL2002: Message Headers Do Not Adjust to Windows Magnifier or Large Windows Fonts (278211)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Windows Magnifier accessibility tool or set your desktop to display large Windows fonts, and you then start Outlook 2002 to view a message, the font size of the message header text may not reflect your change. This behavior also occurs with message headers in Word E-mail.

Also, when you drag a message envelope into a Word document, the text displayed below the envelope does not adjust to the large Windows font display.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, rest the mouse pointer over the text in the message header to view the pop-up text box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
