OL2002: Your Customized Outlook Command Bar Does Not Roam With You (278199)

SYMPTOMS

If you click Customize on the Tools menu and customize your Outlook command bars, your custom settings do not roam with you to another computer on your network. This occurs even if you have roaming profiles enabled on the network.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the command bar settings are stored in the Outcmd.dat file, which does not roam with your profile information when TAPISVR is running.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
