If you press CTRL+D to delete an item from your contact's Activity table, the entire contact is deleted instead of the item that you selected.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, use the DELETE key instead of CTRL+D to delete items from your contact's Activity list.
If you have already deleted a contact by pressing CTRL+D, you can recover the contact by dragging it from the Deleted Items folder to your Contacts folder. To view your Deleted Items folder, click Folder List on the View menu.
