XL2002: Web Query Table Marker Icons Do Not Appear on Web Pages Within Framesets (277816)

SYMPTOMS

When you create or edit a Web query, and you browse to an HTML page that uses a frameset, the table marker icons in the Web query dialog box may not appear on pages in that frameset.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, hide and unhide the icons. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In the Web query dialog box, browse to the Web page that contains the table that you want to query.
  2. Click the Hide Icons button twice.
The page now displays the marker icons.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
