SYMPTOMS

When you view the XLANG Scheduler COM+ Component properties through a Terminal Service Client session, the XLANG tab may be missing.

CAUSE

By default, the XLANG Scheduler component runs by using the Interactive User account and since the server is a Terminal Server, then no one is logged onto the console.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use the following steps to change the security access for the XLANG Scheduler:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Component Services.
  2. Expand Component Services, expand Computers, expand My Computer, and then expand COM+ Applications.
  3. Right-click XLANG Scheduler, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Advanced tab, click to uncheck the Disable changes check box, and then click OK.
  5. Click Yes to the Warning message, right-click XLANG Scheduler, and then click Properties.
  6. Click the Identity tab, and then select a specific user.
