SYMPTOMS

When you export a catalog from the Catalogs Editor in the Business Desk Editor, Custom Catalogs are not exported.

In Commerce Server 2000, you can export catalogs into an XML file. You can then edit this XML file and import it back into the same Commerce Server computer or to another Commerce Server Commerce Server, which provides the functionality to bulk edit or copy a catalog from one server to another. However, Custom Catalog definitions are not exported and therefore, need to be re-created when you copy a catalog to a new server.
