BUG: Error Occurs When You Send a Document to a BizTalk Messaging Port with an MSMQ Transport (276981)

SYMPTOMS

If you submit a document to BizTalk Server for processing by using a BizTalk Messaging port with a primary transport of Microsoft Message Queue Services (MSMQ), the following error may occur in the Application log:

An error occurred in BizTalk Server.

The specified module could not be found.


The server encountered a transport error while processing the messaging
port "MSMQ Test", which uses a transport component with a ProgID of
"BizTalk.SendMSMQ.1".

All retry transmissions failed.

The specified module could not be found.

The server could not finish processing messaging port "MSMQ Test".

Suspended Queue ID: "{941725BE-A3AB-46B3-8D31-082687166F37}"

The specified module could not be found.
					

CAUSE

MSMQ is not installed on the destination server that is specified by the BizTalk Messaging port.

RESOLUTION

Make sure that MSMQ is installed on the destination server that is specified by the BizTalk Messaging port before you attempt to process messages with this port.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in BizTalk Server 2000.
