Orchestration Persistence Database Setup Does Not Retain SQL Instance Default from Setup (276896)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000
This article was previously published under Q276896 SUMMARY
During the installation of BizTalk Server 2000, the Orchestration Persistence database is installed by using a separate executable (XLANGsetupDB.exe). Because of this, the options used in the previous BizTalk Server database setup screens are not migrated to the Orchestration database setup screen. When you create or select the Orchestration database, make sure you choose the correct SQL Server and database information.
MORE INFORMATION
The Orchestration Persistence database setup does not allow you to specify a user and password for SQL Server authentication. The Orchestration Persistence database setup requires that the user who is currently logged in has the appropriate permissions on the SQL Server computer to create the necessary database.
