BizTalk Server 2000 Installation Changes the Sort Order on the Programs Menu (276817)

SYMPTOMS

When you install BizTalk Server 2000, the sort order on the Programs menu may change from the order that was set before installation.

CAUSE

BizTalk Server 2000 does not detect the sort order on the Programs menu during installation. Updating the Programs menu (and its folder and contents) resets it to the default sort order.

RESOLUTION

After you install BizTalk Server 2000, reset the sort order on the Programs menu.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000.
