The Security Configuration and Analysis tool may generate the following error message for the Registry Keys Analysis section even though you have all the necessary permissions:
----Analyze Registry Keys...
Not Configured - USERS.
Error 1314: A required privilege is not held by the client.
Error building security descriptor for machine\software\microsoft.
Error 1208: An extended error has occurred.
Error computing inherited security for tree machine.
Registry keys analysis completed with error.
CAUSE
The wrong security context is used to get the registry security and a handle is closed ahead of time.
