"Stop 0x0A" Error Message When You Eject a CD with Norton Anti-Virus 7 Installed (276504)

SYMPTOMS

You may receive a "Stop 0x0000000A" error message on a blue screen when you eject a CD if Symantec Norton Anti-Virus 7 is installed.

CAUSE

There is a race condition that potentially causes Windows 2000 to delete the RAW device object twice.

RESOLUTION
