Tasks that you sort with multiple fields and the Icon field are not ordered by icon in Outlook (276333)

When you sort your Microsoft Outlook tasks by multiple fields, including the Icon field, your tasks may not sort as expected.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because when you sort a view that uses multiple fields, and one of those fields is Icon, your sort results are not ordered by Icon.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, do not use the Icon field in your sort criteria when you sort a view by multiple fields.

If you open your Task folder, click View, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View, you may sort your tasks by using a maximum of four criteria. If you select the Icon field as one of your four sort criteria, you will encounter the behavior that is described in the "Symptoms" section of this article.
