OL2000: The "Wrap to Window" Option Is Not Persistent When You Use Word As the E-mail Editor (276071)

SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor in Outlook 2000 and you clear the Wrap to Window check box, the option remains selected when you restart Outlook.
The Wrap to Window option should be persistent.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the registry key that contains the configuration information for the Wrap to Window option is damaged.
RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve
problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk.
To resolve this behavior, use the following steps to restore normal functionality to the Wrap to Window option: - Click Start, click Run, type regedit.exe, and then click OK.
- On the Registry menu, click Export Registry file.
- In the File Name box, type REGBU, then click Save.
- Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Word - Under "Word" (without quotation marks), locate and right-click the Data key, click Delete, then click Yes.
- On the Registry menu, click Exit
