SUMMARY

Using a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), such as http://wigets.microsoft.com, or an IP address to access a SharePoint Portal Server workspace, either by means of the portal or from Web folders (a My Network Places shortcut) is not supported in the Beta 2 release.

MORE INFORMATION

If you access the workspace using an FQDN, Windows Explorer may stop responding (hang) when you try to create a category.
