This article was previously published under Q274647 SYMPTOMS When you play Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, terrain or
planes have missing textures. CAUSE This behavior may occur if any of the following conditions
are true:
- You enable detail texturing in Combat Flight Simulator
2.
- Your video driver is corrupted or out of date.
- A Voodoo 3 video adapter is installed in your
computer.
- A Creative Labs video adapter that uses the Banshee chipset
is installed in your computer.
RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, obtain and install the latest video
driver for your video adapter. Workaround for Combat Flight Simulator 2 To work around this issue, disable detail texturing in Combat
Flight Simulator 2. To do this:
- Start Combat Flight Simulator 2.
- On the startup screen, click Settings.
- Under Display, click Advanced Settings.
- Click Image Quality.
- Click to clear the Detail texturing check
box.
- Click OK, and then click OK again.
