SYMPTOMS

When you run the Commerce Server IP Resolution Microsoft SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS) task, a memory leak may occur. The memory leak is approximately 7,700 kilobytes (KB).

CAUSE

This problem may be caused by the SQL Server provider and the fast load option that is used during the DTS task.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
