This article was previously published under Q274315 SYMPTOMS After you upgrade your computer system to Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5.5 or Internet Explorer 6, and
then click on a hyperlink or a URL, your computer's pointer may
not change to a Working In Background state.WORKAROUND To work around this behavior, you may be able to update the
pointer's settings if you use one of the following two methods: - Move the pointer to a different location on
the Web page.
- Hold the pointer over the taskbar or the
toolbar.
