Outlook 2000 in Internet Mode Only (IMO) stops responding and then displays an invalid page fault error message in Kernel32 when you access an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) store.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the IMAP server has identical folder names in different cases, such as "WB" and "wb."
RESOLUTIONA supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next version of Microsoft Outlook 2000 that contains this hotfix.
