"VIDOcx X Unspecified Error" Error Message When You Run WebTV Channel Selection Setup (274233)

SYMPTOMS

When you you click Finish when you first install Microsoft WebTV and run the Setup program for channel selection, the screen turns blue for about 30-60 seconds. After this occurs, the Program Guide starts, and you may receive the following error message:

X Unspecified Error

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, click OK to close the error message. Note that this issue should not occur again unless you uninstall and then reinstall WebTV.
