Encarta: Cannot Zoom in to an Urban Area on a Map (274221)

When you use the Comprehensive Map style in Microsoft Encarta Interactive World Atlas 2001, you may not be able to zoom in to an urban area on a map.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Hill Shading feature is turned off.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, turn on the Hill Shading feature:
- In the left pane, click Map Customizer.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list, and click to select the Hill Shading check box.
- Click Map Customizer to close the menu.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Encarta Interactive World Atlas 2001.
