If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup".
SYMPTOMS
If you click Options on the Tools menu to try to change your Internet e-mail options setting, the Internet E-mail tab may be missing.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the Internet e-mail add-in (the Minet.ecf file) is either disabled in the Add-In Manager or is not installed.
RESOLUTION
Use the following steps to resolve this problem:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Other tab.
- Click Advanced.
- Click Add-In Manager.
- Click to select the Internet Mail check box.
- Click OK three times.
- On the Tools menu, click Options, and verify that you have an Internet E-Mail tab.
If the Internet Mail tab is still not available in the Add-Ins list, click Install, and then locate the Minet.ecf file. If the Minet.ecf file is not available, place a copy of this file in the following Add-in path
<drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Add-ins
and then follow the steps in the "Resolution" section of this article.
If the Minet.ecf file does not exist on your computer, copy it from the original media to the following path:
<drive>:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MAPI\1033
After you copy the file to your hard disk, right-click the Minet.ecf file, and then click Properties. Click to remove the Read-Only check box, click OK, and then follow the steps in the "Resolution" section of this article. MORE INFORMATION
