Usage Import Shifts Weekday Back One Day in French Version of SQL Server (274129)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Site Server 3.0
This article was previously published under Q274129 SYMPTOMS
When you use the French version of SQL Server version 7.0 as a backend to the French version of Microsoft Site Server 3.0, Report Writer does not map data to the correct day of the week. Monday's data is displayed as Sunday's. Weekly reports show Sunday to Thursday, instead of Monday to Friday.
CAUSE
Site Server creates a SQL stored procedure named StoreDate that relies on the Datepart function to return the day of the week. The default value for the first day of the week is Sunday (7) in the English version of SQL Server. The default value for the French version of SQL Server is Monday (1). Therefore, when you import data, it is shifted back one day.
