BUG: ChkOSReq Incorrectly Reports Wrong Hotfix Version If Date or Time Is Set to Other than U.S. Default Formats (274118)

If you run ChkOSReq.cmd or ChkOSReq.vbs from the Application Center 2000 Beta 2 CD tools folder, the following is returned, even though the hotfixes have been successfully installed:

CAUSE
ChkOsReq.vbs checks the date and time stamp of each .dll in the hotfixes against a string date and time that are formatted by using U.S. default formats. If you have a system-time format other than h:mm:dd (with a : separator) and AM and PM or you have a system short-date format other than M/d/yy (with / separator), then ChkOSReq reports all hotfix .dlls as shown in the "Symptoms" section.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, you can do one of the following: - Use the version, date, time, and size information that is printed by ChkOSReq to manually verify the .dll files in system32.
