SYMPTOMS

When you click a hyperlink in an HTML e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook Express, Internet Explorer may start, and this may occur even if Netscape Navigator is set to be the default browser.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue:
  1. Right-click the hyperlink, and then click Copy Shortcut.
  2. Click Start, click Run, press CTRL+V, and then click OK.
