WD2002: Picture in Table of HTML Document Looks Different in Word and Internet Explorer (273979)

SYMPTOMS
When you view the same HTML document in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer, and the document contains pictures in a table, the document does not look the same in Word and Internet Explorer. The pictures in the table are aligned differently.
For example, the horizontal alignment (spacing) is different between Microsoft Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
CAUSE
Microsoft Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer have different spacing defaults when displaying consecutive pictures within a table.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
