SYMPTOMS
When you browse to the retail site as a client, this error message occurs:
Commerce.dbstorage
initstorate encountered the following error while trying to access the database specified by the connection string. [DBNMPNTW]ConnectionOpen (CreateFile()).

CAUSE
TCP/IP sockets has been removed as an available protocol from the Client Network utility on the server.
RESOLUTION
Do not remove the TCP/IP protocol.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
