XCCC: "Conference Not Started" Error Message Occurs After Time Change (273862)

When you join an online conference that was created before a time change was implemented on the Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server host server, you may receive the following error message:
Conference not started. CAUSE
This problem can occur when the conference technology providers that provide specific conferencing functionality are not automatically notified of system date or time changes.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. To obtain a particular service pack for Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server, contact Microsoft Product Support Services. For additional information about the support options available from Microsoft, visit the following Microsoft Web site: WORKAROUND
To work around this problem:
- Click Start, point to Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
- Restart Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server.
- Restart the Microsoft Exchange H.323 bridge.
- Restart Microsoft Exchange T.120 Multipoint Control Unit services.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server.
This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 1.
