Microsoft Windows

To use the Natural Keyboard Pro and Internet Keyboard Pro on a Microsoft Windows-based computer, you must have the following requirements:

• A computer that has an 80486 or faster processor.
• Microsoft Windows 95 or later operating system, or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later operating system.
• 16 megabytes (MB) or more of random access memory (RAM).
• 35 MB or more of available hard disk space.
• A PS/2 connection to your PC (fulfillment card included with product for a PS/2 to AT 5-pin DIN adapter), or an available Universal Serial Bus (USB) port.*
• A CD drive.

* To connect the keyboard to the USB port on a Windows-based computer, you must use a computer based on Microsoft Windows 98.

Note To use the USB ports on the back of the Natural Keyboard Pro, connect your keyboard to an available USB port in your Windows 98-based computer. Any USB devices that are connected to the USB ports on your keyboard must have a power rating of 100mA or less.

To use the Internet Hot Keys on a Windows-based computer, you also need:

• One of the following Web browsers:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x, or later (Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 is included on the installation CD.
    
    Note Internet Explorer 5 requires an additional 45 MB of available hard-disk space).
  • Netscape Navigator 3.x or later.
  • America Online 4.0 or later.
• Access to the Internet.

To use the Multimedia Hot Keys on a Windows-based computer, you need one of the following media player programs:

• Microsoft CD Player.
• Microsoft Media Player.
• Microsoft Deluxe CD Player.
• Creative PC-DVD Player.
• CreativeCD.
• Creative Labs SoundO'LE.
• Nullsoft WinAmp.
• Real Networks RealPlayer, version 4.0, 5.0, or G2.
• Toshiba DVD Video Player.
• Toshiba Audio CD Player.
• Voyetra AudioStation.
• Yamaha YStation 32.

Apple Macintosh

To use the Natural Keyboard Pro and Internet Keyboard Pro on an Apple Macintosh computer, you need:

• Macintosh OS System 8.6 through 9.1 operating system. Not supported under OS X.
• 15 MB of available hard disk space.
• An available USB port.

Note To use the USB ports on the back of the Natural Keyboard Pro, you must connect your keyboard to an available USB port in your Macintosh computer, and any USB devices that are connected to the USB ports on your keyboard must have a power rating of 100mA or less.

To use the Internet Hot Keys on a Macintosh, you also need:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.5 or later, or Netscape Navigator 4.x or later.
• Access to the Internet.

To use the Multimedia Hot Keys on a Mac, you need:

• AppleCD Audio player (included with Mac OS).
