SUMMARY

The Microsoft Windows 2000 Resource Kit includes a Graphical IPConfig utility (the Wntipcfg.exe program). However, during the installation process the utility does not install automatically.

NOTE: On your CD-ROM, the Wntipcfg.exe program is located in the Netmgmt.cab file.

To install the Graphical IPConfig utility, follow these steps:
  1. Insert the Windows 2000 Resource Kit CD into your computer's CD-Rom drive.
  2. Double-click the Netmgmt.cab folder.
  3. Copy the Wntipcfg.exe file to your %Windir%\System32 folder.
