If you use the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) Numbering feature in an HTML message to number a long list of items, some of the numbers may not be visible.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, use the Increase Indent feature to move the numbered list from the left margin of the message window.
To increase the indent of the list:
- Click to select the text in the numbered list in the HTML message.
- Click Increase Indent.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
This behavior occurs in HTML message when you use a large font sizes and a list that contains hundreds of items. When you click Numbering to apply numbers to this list, the number characters are cut off at the left margin of the message window. This behavior occurs more frequently when the number characters are set to both medium and larger font size.
Each time that you click Increase Indent, you increase the distance of the list from left margin of the message window. You may have to click Increase Indent more than once to move the number characters from the left margin.
