SYMPTOMS

After you run the Inbox Repair tool, you may not be able to move folders or messages to the Personal Folders (.pst) file or save messages that are in the repaired .pst file as an .mfg file.

When you attempt to move a folder to a new .pst file, you may receive the following error message:
Can't move the items. Unable to delete this folder. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions.
This error message does not apply to the .pst file because the .pst file does not have a permissions tab.

When you attempt to move a message to a new .pst file, you may receive the following error message:
Can't move the items. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.
When you attempt to save a message as an .msg file, you may receive the following error message:
Internal MAPI error: An invalid parameter was passed to a MAPI function. Contact your administrator.
