XFOR: Notes Connector Quits with Messages in the Browser Log (272925)

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes quits and the following messages are reported in the browser log:

CAUSE

This issue occurs when a message that contains an attachment that is encrypted is sent from Lotus Notes to Exchange Server.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, remove the message that matches the last one logged in Exchange.box; this message causes Exchange Notes Connector to quit.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
