WD2001: Printing Problem When You Switch Themes (272831)

When you attempt to print a Microsoft Word 2001 for Mac document, some text may be superimposed and unreadable.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if all of the following conditions are true:
- You change themes before you print the document.
- The new theme uses a different font than the previous theme.
- You do not save the document before you print it.
- You use a PostScript or a QuickDraw printer.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, save the document immediately before you print it.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
