This article describes how to perform a silent installation that suppresses the rebooting of a computer during the installation of a Single Disk Branding build that was created by using Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK).

You can create a Single Disk Branding build of Microsoft Internet Explorer by using IEAK. This method creates a Setup.exe file in the BrndOnly folder in your build location. When you run this Setup.exe file, it customizes Internet Explorer features without installing Internet Explorer.

When you use Corporate Administrator mode, you can specify that the installation of the Single Disk Branding build be silent, but you cannot suppress the reboot that the installation forces (even by using the standard Internet Explorer command-line switches). Use the following command to install a Single Disk Branding build silently and to suppress the reboot:

setup.exe /c:"ie5setup.exe /q /r:n"

Note that the customizations do not take effect until the computer is rebooted.
